How to send a Pushudo
At Pushudo.com we wanted to make sending links fast and easy. There are three ways you can send a Pushudo:- 1) Manual Pushudo: From within your myPushudos pages, click on the “PUSH IT!” button that is under the thumbnail of the Pushudo you want to send. A popup window will appear asking you to insert the required information:
- 2) Quickshudo: the fastest way of sending a Pushudo. Sometimes, there are just some people you always send Pushudos to. A Quickshudo will allow you to, after viewing a Pushudo already in your inbox, send a Pushudo to a pre-assigned recipient. With just one click on one of your Quickshudo button, the Pushudo will be sent to that recipient.
- 3) Bookmarklet: the second fastest way of sending a Pushudo. Simply click on the Push It! bookmarklet button that you installed in your browser when you registered. It'll automatically grab all the necessary information about the pushed shite for you so that just have to worry about who to send it to and what funny comment to send along with it!
Receiving Pushudos:
When you receive a Pushudo it will automatically added to your Inbox feed and an email will be sent to inform you (unless you've set your settings otherwise). How often you receive these emails is up to you but by default emails are sent up to every two hours. Your email frequency, and preferences can be adjusted from within your Settings tab of your myPushudos page. If you have received an email notification from Pushudo.com, simply click the link in the email to see the Pushudos. You may also wish to turn off email notifications completely and login to your account as part of your regular internet routine to see if you’ve received anything new.
Unsubscribing:
Pushudo.com's number one focus is user satisfaction. As such we never want to become a nuisance. If you ever find yourself getting too many Pushudo notifications, you can adjust the notification interval from within the settings tab of your myPushudos page (if you have an account with us), or you can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in one of our notification emails we send out. If you have an account with us you may also choose "Add to my inbox only", in your account settings to globally turn off email notifications.
Registering:
To register register with Pushudo.com click on the "Signup" button on the upper right hand corner of any page. We will only ask for basic, non-personal information. We will never sell your information; we know how much it sucks to have our information sold, so we refuse to sell our user’s information. Simply follow the prompts to finish your registration process.
One thing to note with Pushudo.com is that you actually don’t even need to sign up to use our service if you are only planning on receiving links from friends. To receive Pushudos sent to your email address, simply add your email address as part of the URL (e.x. http://www.pushudo.com/youremail@emailaddress.com), or use form on the homepage.
Mark read and unread:
When you receive a new Pushudo, they will be colored differently than those Pushudos you’ve already read. If you want to re-mark an already read Pushudo as unread, double click to mark it as unread. You may also use the "Mark as Read" and "Mark as Unread" links that appear on the bottom of the Pushudo. Once you read the Pushudo, it will automatically mark it as read and place it in the list of received Pushudos chronologically.
Quickshudos:
Quickshudos allow you to send a Pushudo to a pre-established email address with only one click. You can setup up to four quickshudos in your Quickshudo settings page. Once your Quickshudos have been added, it just takes one click to push on an existing Pushudo to a Quickshudo recipient. Quickshudo recipients are represented by the buttons bearing the numbers 1-4 under a Pushudo's thumbnail. Mousing over each number will show your programmed recipient that corresponds to that number.
